Nancy's Place, ReflectionsOil, 18 x 14. This was painted on a very hot day, when I participated in a painting excursion to an estate in Loudoun County mentored by Ed Cooper. In June 2011, this was juried into the annual ArtReston show and received a Third Place award.The painting was also accepted into the judged 17th annual ArtReston show (June 2010) judged by Daniel Wise. This received an Honorable Mention in the League of Reston Artists April 2008 show at the Reston Community Center. |
